SPELLING BEE COMPETITION for 3rd and 2nd Grades

Dost Koleji Çukurambar Şubemizde 06-07 Aralık tarihlerinde yapılan ve konsepti Yabancı Diller Zümresi tarafından hazırlanan “Spelling Bee (Heceleme) Yarışması” izleyenlere ve katılımcılara heyecan dolu anlar yaşattı.  Öğrencilerimize, kelimeleri akıcı bir şekilde harf harf kodlamalarını öğretmekle birlikte yazım yanlışlarını en aza indirmek, zamanı doğru kullanma alışkanlığı edindirmek, kelime bilgisini genişletirken aynı zamanda telaffuz hatalarını azaltmak ve en önemlisi özgüven kazanmalarına yardımcı olmak adına düzenlenen İngilizce Heceleme yarışmasında (Spelling Bee Competition) öğrencilerin heyecanı zirveye çıktı. Yarışma sonunda katılımcılara ve başarılı olan öğrencilere sertifikaları verildi.

Dost Koleji Primary School held a Spelling Bee Competition for 2^nd and 3^rd grades, between 06th and 7^th of December 2017. The competition which the English Department belonged took place in our Çukurambar location and the atmosphere was ‘buzzing’! Spelling bee competition creates tense and exciting moments for participants and the audience. The Competition aimed at not only helping students to improve their spelling, increase their vocabulary or reduce writing mistakes, but it also aimed developing student’s self-confidence, communication and public speaking skills. The 3^rd grade participants were extremely competitive forcing each class rounds to decide the winner.   All participants exhibited great core values and they were extremely proud of how well they represented their own class. The participants and the finalists received their certificates after the competitions.
